Additionally, the skis are waxed to enhance glide and overall efficiency on the slopes. This service is ideal for maintaining the quality of relatively new or recently tuned skis and ensuring they deliver a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Standard Tune $75
Sharpening the metal edges for better grip, using a stone grinding process to flatten the base and add structure, adjusting edge angles (beveling), fine-tuning by hand, and repairing base imperfections with PTex. These steps collectively ensure optimal control, speed, and overall quality while skiing or snowboarding.
Premium Tune $85
The described services encompass comprehensive restoration for heavily damaged skis or snowboards. Similar to a Minor Tune, this package addresses severe issues like major core shots. It involves edge sharpening, stone grinding to repair substantial base damage, adjusting edge angles, hand-finishing, and utilizing PTex for repairing major imperfections. This intensive process aims to fully restore equipment functionality and performance, particularly for severely compromised skis or snowboards.
