DEREK – FOUNDER STORY

Derek developed his passion for skiing in Nova Scotia before moving to Whistler after high school. After twelve seasons working in local ski shops, he founded Profile Ski & Snowboard Services in 2003.
His experience has taken him from the Whistler ski community to some of the highest levels of the sport, including the 2014 Olympic Games and Canada’s National Slopestyle Ski Team.
Today, that experience helps shape the tuning process used on every ski that enters the shop. Refined through years of feedback from athletes, ski professionals, instructors, and recreational skiers alike, the focus remains the same: helping every customer get the most out of their time on snow.
