I developed my passion for skiing in Nova Scotia. Following my high school graduation, I made the bold move to Whistler, where I secured a position at Jim McConkey Sport Shop. Over twelve exhilarating seasons with Whistler Blackcomb, my passion crystallized into a determination to carve my own path. Two years of meticulous planning culminated in the birth of Profile Ski and Snowboard Services in 2003.
My burgeoning reputation afforded me an opportunity to contribute my expertise as the Wax Technician for the Paralympic Snowboard Cross team during the 2014 Olympic games in Sochi. The experience I garnered from the Olympics led me to a position with the National Slopestyle Ski Team, serving as a Wax Technician for the 2017 World Cup season.
In 2013, the newly established Whistler Adventure School approached me, and I eagerly embraced the role of an instructor, leading an extensive Ski Tuning Course from 2013 to 2022. With the advent of each approaching winter season, my enthusiasm is ignited by the prospect of enhancing the shop, nurturing staff skills, and fostering meaningful connections with our valued customers.
